Luck Over Time
How these are calculated
Expected Wins is your record if you played every other team every week (All-Play). Luck is Actual Wins minus Expected Wins.
- Positive luck: more wins than your scoring earned.
- Negative luck: you scored well but kept running into big weeks.
SOS is your opponents' average points per game minus the league average, so a positive number means a tougher schedule. PA is total points your opponents scored against you.
Power score is out of 100: 50% season All-Play win rate, 30% scoring average, and 20% All-Play win rate over the last 3 weeks. The arrow shows movement since the previous week. Real record is not part of it.
Playoff odds come from simulating the rest of the regular season 3,000 times. Each team's weekly score is drawn from its own average and spread (blended with the league's early in the season), then teams are ranked by wins and points for. It is an estimate, not a guarantee, and it ignores injuries and byes.
Consistency is the standard deviation of a team's weekly scores. A low number means predictable scoring; a high number means boom-or-bust.
Awards are for the selected week only. Lucky Win is the win with the lowest expected-win value, and Bad Beat is the loss with the highest. Ties are ignored for blowout and nailbiter.
